MODULE 1 | Trainers ≠ Miracle Workers: Is training the (only) answer?

Analyze if Training is the answer to an organizational need based on the McKinsey 7-S model.

Recommend non-Training interventions to your stakeholders when necessary.

At the end of the module, active participants will have evaluated the soundness of a training request in a case study.

MODULE 2 | Engaging the Adult Learner: From Theory to Application

October 11, 2024 | 9:30-10:30 AM or 4:30-5:30 PM (GMT +8)

Compare how children and adults learn based on Adult Learning Principles.

Devise strategies to manage different types of participants in a training session.

At the end of the module, active participants will have provided suggestions to improve the adult learning experience in sample training scenarios.

MODULE 3 | ADDIE with a Twist: Start with the end in mind

October 18, 2024 | 9:30-10:30 AM or 4:30-5:30 PM (GMT +8)

Integrate an evidence-based approach in the training program creation.

Evaluate Training Program plans and proposals to ensure return-on-investment

At the end of the module, active participants will have examined a sample training plan and made recommendations to include effective formative assessments.

Leveraging AI and other digital tools in Learning Design

Only available for participants who will avail the Extended Training Fundamentals Package.

Choose from an array of digital (non-authoring) tools to implement in your Training Programs.

At the end of the module, active participants will have exercised basic prompt engineering using OpenAI's free ChatGPT 3.5
